Membership in the Central Florida Chapter offers many benefits and services to its members. Valuable information gained through our organization will better the career of planners and suppliers alike.
- Expand the knowledge and abilities of planners and suppliers through educational programs
- Improve communications, understanding, and cooperation between planners and suppliers through chapter meetings
- Aid planners in locating and evaluating meeting facilities and support services
- Research, analyze, and translate regulatory and legislative issues and policies which affect government meeting professionals
- Maintain liaison activities with other professional meeting planners and supplier groups
- Provide guidance and advice to planners on all phases of planning and executing meetings
Monthly Membership Meetings
Meetings are held in Gainesville on the third Thursday of each month. The meeting site varies as member suppliers and planners volunteer to host. Hospitality and networking begins at 5:30 p.m., the educational program begins at 6:00 p.m., followed by the Business Meeting. Non-members may attend the first meeting free of charge and are always welcome.
